Description
Jimbo lived in the bush with his mum and dad, where the gum trees were red. One day Jimbo decided to go for a walk and got lost as the gum trees had turned white.Upset and hungry Jimbo remembered, in the dreamtime his dad would go looking for bush tucker. After looking around Jimbo came across a wild lemon tree but he couldn’t reach it.
Mr Kangaroo and also a bunch of Galah’s wouldn’t help Jimbo. until Eddie the Emu came through to help, but all those who didn’t help came to take the lemons, again he ended up with none.
Eddie the Emu was kind enough to try and get him back home. Off they went but not for long as he got to tired to go any further.
Pete the Pelican arrived just in time to help Jimbo continue home, but he had a mouth full of fish. Pete the pelican flew Jimbo home with the fish.
Jimbo’s parents asked what he had been up to that day, smelling of fish he just smiled, while eating mum’s cooking.
